Christmas is only 3 days away! When I entertain it’s never very formal. You know I love to cook but I’m a totally casual person, and so is my home. Most of the Charmers furnishing were purchased from thrift store and barn sale finds. My farmhouse table was a steal from a barn sale I attended in November.
If there’s one place I want to be in the Charmer it’s in my Cozy Christmas Kitchen! I love my kitchen, now that doesn’t mean there aren’t things I wouldn’t change about it, there is. But when I walk in to the kitchen I have such a wave of being enveloped in the warmest feeling! So it’s with great pleasure… Read More
I was planning on sharing our Cozy Christmas Kitchen with you, but to be honest I’m feeling a tad tired today. There’s so many photos (300) to edit that I switched gears and I’m sharing Christmas In Our Master Bedroom and Dressing Room.
Serving mixed drinks at a party can be a tricky business. You could have someone serve drinks, or you could leave a bunch of mixers and liquor out. For my taste, any deviled egg is a good egg! Mr. C loves deviled eggs, but my taste buds wanted a more sophisticated deviled egg. Pesto Deviled Eggs is an alternative to the classic with a few alternative ingredients! I use Costco organic eggs (2 dozen for under $7). Pesto Deviled Eggs makes a great appetizer and also added to… Read More

Merry Christmas! Welcome to A Charming Christmas Dining Room. The theme for my Christmas decor sprung from the knitted stars I’ve been making, and of course a red and white color theme. Usually I do individual post, the mantel, buffet etc, but with Christmas so close they are being shared as rooms. The one thing I never want the Charmer… Read More
Today the sun finally popped out and I snapped photos all day to share in a Charmer Holiday Home Tour Collage. I’ve been a busy bee since the day after Thanksgiving decorating the Charmer in her holiday delight! It seems like I wasn’t getting anywhere fast? I mean I’d work on it thinking each day that that would be the… Read More

Saturday I attended a Women’s Christmas retreat at the Center. The Center is one of my favorite places to spend time for spiritual renewal. It is a place for celebration, enrichment and healing. Over 30 years I attended retreats, yoga, painting, weaving, teas, lunches and special holiday events. This was the first year the retreat wasn’t overnight, but none the… Read More
Our holiday decorating and getting it done has me in a frenzy! But, our holiday decorating is almost done :-}. Today I’ve been working on the finishing touches that makes the holidays decor come alive. Yesterday I worked on a vignette I didn’t expect to be doing? I found a vintage chest at GW this week and a freebie mirror… Read More
